Alcohol Delivery to the USA
 

Depending on the State of Delivery — we use 2 different ways to deliver baskets containing wine or beer: shipped by postal service and delivered via our local delivery agents.

Here is a list of the 44 states that we ship alcohol gifts to using a postal service: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, NY, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY.

Or, if you are sending this gift to a state other than one of those mentioned above: we will arrange a delivery with our local agent within that state in compliance with the local law. In this case, the exact basket contents are subject to local availability and may be replaced with items of equal or greater value. We will contact you about alternate gift options if no equivalent substitutions are available.
 


 

Calling Recipient to Arrange Delivery
 

We usually require a recipient’s phone number to ensure a smooth delivery. The calls are usually made when the delivery is made by a local courier to ensure that the recipient is home at the time of scheduled delivery.

Please note: in some cases, we don’t need to call the recipient. These instances include: when the order is handled by a 3rd party shipper such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS. These services have their own address verification requirements & procedures, which we have no control over.

Delivery Attempts
 

If the delivery is attempted by a local courier and it is unsuccessful due to the recipient’s absence, the gift may be left at the local post office, where the recipient can later collect it. In this case, a note will be left on the recipient’s door.

Please note: we can’t be held responsible if the recipient fails to collect the gift within 2 business days of the attempted delivery date, which will result in the gift contents being spoiled and discarded.

A signature of a 21+ years old person is required upon alcohol gift delivery. The gift containing alcohol can not be left at the door, and delivery will be reattempted if nobody 21+ is found at home at the time of the initial delivery attempt. By purchasing this gift you confirm that you are at least 21 years old and the intended gift recipient is at least 21 years old.

Easy Returns
 

You or a gift recipient may return new, unopened items sold by Israel Florist within 5 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also fully cover the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. Please contact us to request a return of a product to our closest warehouse. We will organize a pickup OR provide the return shipping label within 2 business days.
 


 

Gift Delivery Times
 

Our deliveries are typically made throughout the day, into the evening hours. We can deliver as early as 9:00 am or as late as 10:00 pm.

We can take requests for a morning or evening delivery, you can make your request leaving a comment on the comments field while placing your order or by contacting our Customer Service Team, we will do our best to deliver your gift on the desired time, however, we are currently unable to guarantee an exact delivery time. If your intended recipient is going to be at work on the day of your scheduled delivery, we suggest sending the arrangement to the workplace. Please keep in mind: an incomplete or incorrect address or phone number may delay delivery.
 


 

Gift Packaging & Containers
 

Gift packaging type varies based on delivery location and season. Gifts may arrive in a traditional gift basket, box or a chest (all subject to regional availability) and carton-packed for shipping (when required).

Sometimes filler and protective packaging in gifts may look different from images shown, but is always the highest quality option that is regionally available to protect your gift during shipping. We reserve the right to substitute the basket type, bow & wrap color at the local designer’s discretion and holiday theme.
 


 

Guaranteed Delivery Days
 

Shipments are guaranteed* for Ground, Overnight and Saturday deliveries. If our delivery courier misses the delivery, then we will refund the shipping on your gift. Please know that if the recipient is not home (or at the provided address) and was unable to receive the package, this does not qualify as our courier missing the delivery.

*Circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, COVID-19 lockdowns & delays, strikes, and so forth, void the delivery guarantee. Please note that the specified per-country delivery guarantee applies to orders placed by 10 am local time with all necessary address information. During the months of November & December, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed due to the increase in carrier volume.
 


 

Holiday Delivery Information
 

During peak holiday periods, such as Christmas and other major holidays, our delivery capabilities may be impacted by an increased volume of orders. We are committed to transparency and want to provide transparent information about what to expect.

Incorrect Recipient Information
 

If the delivery cannot be done because of an incorrectly specified recipient’s address, IsraelFlorist.com will not be responsible for delivery delays or failure; therefore, no refund will be possible.

Most of our orders are handled by a 3rd party shipper such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or others, so whenever the address is incorrect: updates in their systems & rerouting may potentially delay the delivery by 1-3 business days OR lead to a complete delivery failure (when the product shelf life no longer allows for delivery delay).

Because of this, we highly recommend you to double-check the address & specify a working recipient’s phone number to ensure timely delivery.

If the recipient has moved away or is unable to receive the gift at the location within 2 business days after attempted delivery: the shipment will be returned or destroyed, so no refund will be possible.

If the recipient’s delivery information is incorrect and no alternative information is provided on a timely basis, the order will be canceled as undeliverable and the amount of refund will be determined on a per-case basis according to the expenses associated with the order.
 


 

Multiple Gifts Ordered to the Same Address
 

If you have ordered more than one gift to the same address, it is possible that the gifts will not be shipped from the same fulfillment offices (or warehouses).

Therefore, items may arrive in separate boxes or at different times. We will do our best to match the arrival time for all the items in your order, but we are unable to guarantee that all items will arrive at the exact same time; however, we can guarantee that your gifts will arrive by the delivery date requested.

Please be assured: you won’t be responsible for shipping charges if the items need to be shipped separately.
 


 

Order Refused by a Recipient
 

It is rare, but sometimes a recipient may refuse to accept the order for personal reasons or due to their company policy. In such cases, we will offer you the option to redirect the order to another address or recipient in the same country. If we have incurred expenses for the order processing and delivery to the initial recipient, an additional payment for order redirection may be requested. If you offer no option to redirect the order to another address or recipient in the same country: no refund will be possible. This is because each item delivered is built-to-order, and many items are perishable and can’t be reused for another order.

Such deliveries will be made to the reception desk and passed onto your recipient from there. Please note that while these deliveries have a very high success rate, we cannot always verify that your recipient has received the gift — especially if they don’t speak English or if we do not have a working phone number for them — and we cannot be held responsible for issues that occur with the gift once it has been delivered to reception.

There are some things you, the customer, can do to help ensure successful delivery to special locations:
 

  1. Make sure to provide us with a direct working, local phone number for your recipient.
  2. Ask your recipient to be on the lookout for a package that will be delivered to the reception; this way, they can make sure to communicate with the front desk about the gift’s arrival.
  3. Contact your recipient to ask about the gift once it’s been delivered to reception.
     


 

Deliveries to Residential Addresses
 

A residential address must include all relevant information, including the door code and the residing person’s full name. It’s important to make sure that their name appears on the mailbox or that the official resident’s name is provided in the order form. Otherwise, the delivery attempt may be unsuccessful.

In case the recipient is not at the address at the time of the delivery, usually, a delivery notice should be left at the recipient’s mailbox specifying the new delivery attempt time and date along with the shipping company’s contact details for more convenience. Normally, three delivery attempts are made before the gift is sent to the closest Pick-Up point for further collection. Alternatively, the gift may be left at a safe place or with a building concierge only if the courier considers such an option acceptable. It is essential to let us know the recipient’s check-in and check-out dates in order to avoid any confusion in case the delivery must be delayed for reasons beyond our control.

Deliveries to Military Bases
 

There are no guarantees for orders shipped to military addresses such as APO or FPOs, including how long it will take for the package to arrive or if the package will actually be delivered to the recipient. You place these orders at your own risk. We will provide proof that the package was shipped and do everything we can to ensure delivery. To avoid problems with these orders, please make certain that the address you provide is correct and that the person to whom you are shipping actually has a military address. All items are inspected by our Quality Control Team prior to shipping, however, flowers and gift baskets may occasionally arrive at their destination damaged or fail to arrive due to circumstances outside of our control.

Reports regarding gifts that are delivered damaged or have defective contents have to be submitted to Customer Service within 7 days of delivery. A picture of the delivered goods, clearly showing the damage, must be included as it will help to determine further rectification steps. Please make sure to use no filters when you send us pictures of the delivered items.

Quality complaints on flowers, cakes, fruits, and other perishable items are accepted only within 48 hrs after the delivery has taken place. A picture of the delivered goods, clearly showing the damage, must be included, as it will help to determine further rectification steps.

Our Quality Department may need to contact the recipient in order to obtain information about the gift delivered or the circumstances of the delivery as it will help us to make a decision on further steps of complaint resolution.

We work as hard as possible, but as much as it bothers us, there are things beyond our (and our delivery/shipping vendors’) direct control; these issues are outside our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. We cannot compensate customers who provide incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses or whose recipients refuse delivery (i.e., at a hospital). As we cannot guarantee chosen delivery dates for orders placed later than 3 business days in advance for dates surrounding major gift delivery holidays — such as Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day or Women’s Day — the guarantee is not applicable if delivery does not occur on the customer’s chosen date (please see our delivery policy).

Compensation for issues within the scope of the policy will take the form of full or partial refunds against the payment amount or discount vouchers for future orders.
